Drum Development Company acquired the vacant farm steading, formerly a cattle breeding centre, in 2006. Planning permission for the change to residential use had previously been granted, however, the design team were keen to look afresh at the potential and setting for the existing buildings.

A two storey blonde sandstone block forms the main elevation with a single storey block behind enclosing the courtyard. The proposal involves the conversion of the courtyard block and adjacent out-buildings into 8 luxury residential dwellings fitted out to a high specification to meet modern living standards with private garden space adjacent.
